MFGS, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Sales Specialist – Compliance with experience in Sales. The Sales Specialist – Compliance will support sales efforts across the secure U.S. Federal Government accounts.  This role collaborates with and supports our Account Managers to provide license management across the federal secure accounts. The goals of this role are to verify customer license use and work to address any issues. 

This role spans the Department of Defense (DOD) and Intelligence Community.

Job Responsibilities

·       Identify customer Software Assets

·      Verifying the Software Assets including licenses, usage, and rights

·       Identifying gaps that may exist between what exists on the installations, and the licenses possessed, and the rights of usage

·       Taking action to close any gaps

·       Set direction for business development and solution replication

·       Strategic planning on a business development level; can build an effective business case reflecting the value of an appropriate strategy

Knowledge and Skills:

·       Enhance knowledge on product sets to better identify software

·       Understand the needs for the DOD, and integrate this knowledge into consultative selling

·       Negotiates and drives deals to ensure successful close

·       Uses client engagement skills in collaboration with account leads to propose expansive systems or service solutions to client

·       Leadership and initiative in successfully driving specialty sales in accounts – prospecting, negotiating and closing deals

·      Translate product knowledge into customer’s added business value

·       Ability to take a deal through the U.S. Government sales cycle including closing or supporting the close of a deal

·       Understand the channel and work an effective plan to increase sales with our partners

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

·       Should coordinate internal and external partners to deliver appropriate solution sale

·       Establishes relationships with customer/partner at all organizational levels; able to interface with senior levels in internal and external groups

·       Bachelor’s degree preferred / directly related previous work experience

·      Demonstrated success in achieving progressively higher quota

·      Selling into the U.S. Government and Integrators required

·       Typically 5-8 years advanced sales experience required

·       DOD Clearance a plus
