Head of Finance & Governance
Tyler Price oversees accounting, financial processes, business support, financial planning and analysis, reporting, payroll, and company cash flow. He also chairs the company’s Governance Committee.
Price has been an integral leader of multiple integrations that ultimately led to the creation of MFGS, Inc. These integrations have allowed companies to increase the size and scope of business focused on providing enterprise software and support to the U.S. federal government. Price supported the hiring of key personnel, developed core business processes, and established dashboards and KPIs to drive business results and profitability while optimizing cash flow.
Price has over 20 years of experience building and leading finance teams in global companies with complex business models, mergers, and acquisitions, integrating and divesting companies, and establishing best-in-class practices through robust analysis, strategic planning, and process development and optimization.
Prior to joining MFGS, Inc., Price was the chief financial officer (CFO) and a founding executive for Micro Focus Government Solutions. Price led divestiture and integration activities stemming from the spinout of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s (HPE) Software Division and was on the board of director’s audit and compensation committees at Micro Focus. As CFO for the Americas software region at HPE, Price oversaw annual revenues of over $2 billion. He was also the senior director of finance for the Big Data Software & SaaS business, which became the top performing software business in the company, and the senior finance manager of the Enterprise Security Software Division, where he led the successful integration of several company acquisitions. Price also oversaw finance for the Enterprise Services Division where he helped build a services business focused on delivering solutions from numerous low-cost locations around the world.
Price began his career at Hewlett-Packard Co. as a senior financial analyst supporting new product introductions in the Storage Solutions Division.
Price earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Brigham Young University. He also earned a certificate in leadership and innovation from Stanford University. He resides in California with his wife and their five children.
